Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Daisy Dodd-Noble achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for USD 44,100.00 (€ 40,429.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Daisy Dodd-Noble; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Purple Forest sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daisy Dodd-Noble erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 44.100,00 (€ 40.429,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Daisy Dodd-Noble; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Purple Forest im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27).
