This artwork by Daisy Dodd-Noble achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October this year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Yellow Landscape with Cypress Trees on an Island sold for GBP 37,800.00 (€ 43,404.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Daisy Dodd-Noble; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Purple Forest sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daisy Dodd-Noble erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Yellow Landscape with Cypress Trees on an Island für GBP 37.800,00 (€ 43.404,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Daisy Dodd-Noble; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Purple Forest im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27).
