Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Daisy Dodd-Noble achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in September this year. In the New Now auction, the work Beech Forest sold for USD 21,590.00 (€ 20,398.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daisy Dodd-Noble - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Purple Forest, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daisy Dodd-Noble erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Beech Forest für USD 21.590,00 (€ 20.398,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Daisy Dodd-Noble mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Purple Forest beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27) versteigert wurde.
