Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Daisy Dodd-Noble achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in July this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art auction, the work Climb sold for USD 16,510.00 (€ 14,981.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daisy Dodd-Noble have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Purple Forest in June this year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daisy Dodd-Noble erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Climb für USD 16.510,00 (€ 14.981,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daisy Dodd-Noble auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Purple Forest im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27).
