In July this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Large Tree and Distant Forest by Daisy Dodd-Noble. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,970.00 (€ 16,298.76), 75% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Daisy Dodd-Noble have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Purple Forest in June this year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Large Tree and Distant Forest von Daisy Dodd-Noble zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.970,00 (€ 16.298,76) und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daisy Dodd-Noble auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Purple Forest im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27).
