In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Two Trees with Blue sky and large cloud by Daisy Dodd-Noble. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,857.14), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Daisy Dodd-Noble have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Purple Forest in June this year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Trees with Blue sky and large cloud von Daisy Dodd-Noble zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 17.857,14) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daisy Dodd-Noble auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Purple Forest im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27).
