Upper estimate price exceeded by 40 %.
In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Indiana Jones by Claudia Comte. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,268.37), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claudia Comte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Indiana Jones von Claudia Comte zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.260,00 (€ 1.268,37) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claudia Comte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81).
