Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Sculpture Object 28 by Claudia Comte for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,183.19). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition at Christies and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Claudia Comte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sculpture Object 28 von Claudia Comte für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.183,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition bei Christies erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claudia Comte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81).
