Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Bumpy Grumpy“. by Claudia Comte was sold in the Sommer 2021 - Zeitgenössische Kunst auction at Grisebach in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claudia Comte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study), which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „Bumpy Grumpy“. von Claudia Comte wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Sommer 2021 - Zeitgenössische Kunst bei Grisebach versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claudia Comte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81) versteigert wurde.
