This artwork by Claudia Comte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2020. In the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Sculpture object 33 sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,851.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Claudia Comte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Claudia Comte erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Sculpture object 33 für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.851,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claudia Comte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81).
