Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Tubes 4 (O, i, n) by Claudia Comte for USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,518.89). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Claudia Comte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tubes 4 (O, i, n) von Claudia Comte für USD 9.450,00 (€ 8.518,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claudia Comte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81).
