The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,435.06) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brad Kahlhamer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Steer Skull in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).

Die Arbeit Inside A US State Park von Brad Kahlhamer wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.435,06) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brad Kahlhamer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Steer Skull im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27).
