Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in Online held the auction Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Bedford Ave Basin, 2007 by Brad Kahlhamer. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,900.00 (€ 1,542.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brad Kahlhamer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Steer Skull in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in Online die Auktion Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bedford Ave Basin, 2007 von Brad Kahlhamer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.900,00 (€ 1.542,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brad Kahlhamer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Steer Skull im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27).
