Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Brad Kahlhamer could be acquired at Sothebys in London in August 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art| London auction, the work Weird Clouds Usa changed hands for GBP 756.00 (€ 847.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brad Kahlhamer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Steer Skull in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Brad Kahlhamer konnte im August 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art| London wechselte die Arbeit Weird Clouds Usa für GBP 756,00 (€ 847,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brad Kahlhamer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Steer Skull im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27).
