This work without title by Barkley L. Hendricks was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 200,000.00 (€ 168,095.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barkley L. Hendricks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stanley in May this year with an auction result of USD 6,100,000.00 (€ 5,725,549.09).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 168.095,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barkley L. Hendricks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stanley im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.100.000,00 (€ 5.725.549,09).
