It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,491.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aref El Rayess achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jeddah (Al Shatek el Hadi) (The Calm Shore) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 127,548.65).
