Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (from the Desert series) by Aref El Rayess was sold in the Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 72,500.00 (€ 64,570.72). Other works by Aref El Rayess have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 137,000.00 (€ 127,548.65) in March 2015 for the work Jeddah (Al Shatek el Hadi) (The Calm Shore).

Die Arbeit Untitled (from the Desert series) von Aref El Rayess wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 72.500,00 (€ 64.570,72) einen neuen Besitzer.
