Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Juanito Dormido by Antonio Berni. Here, the upper estimate of USD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 441,000.00 (€ 361,653.27). Other works by Antonio Berni have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25) in November 2013 for the work Los Emigrantes.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Juanito Dormido von Antonio Berni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 441.000,00 (€ 361.653,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25) im November 2013 für die Arbeit Los Emigrantes beobachtet.
