In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Juanito Laguna by Antonio Berni. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,630.09) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Berni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Emigrantes in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Juanito Laguna von Antonio Berni zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.630,09) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Emigrantes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25).
