Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Arse Flowers in Bloom by Ansel Krut was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,252.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ansel Krut have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work Mussels was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,501.52).

Die Arbeit Arse Flowers in Bloom von Ansel Krut wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.252,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
