Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ansel Krut achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2007. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work Clockwork Hearts sold for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,795.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ansel Krut achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mussels in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,501.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ansel Krut erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Clockwork Hearts für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.795,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ansel Krut erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mussels im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.501,52).
