Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Matelot (Jolly Jack Tar) by Ansel Krut was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,935.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ansel Krut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mussels in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,501.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Matelot (Jolly Jack Tar) von Ansel Krut kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.935,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ansel Krut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mussels im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.501,52).
