Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online | London, which included the work Napoleon On Elba by Ansel Krut. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,598.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ansel Krut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mussels in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,501.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Napoleon On Elba von Ansel Krut zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.598,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ansel Krut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mussels im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.501,52).
