Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Christies in London held the auction First Open Online, which included the work Head with Bottles by Ansel Krut. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,979.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ansel Krut - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mussels, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,501.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head with Bottles von Ansel Krut zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.979,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ansel Krut mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mussels beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.501,52) versteigert wurde.
