Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Proposal 14 by Alex Olson was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in July 2015. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,720.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Alex Olson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Circulate was auctioned for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
