Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alex Olson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in September 2021. In the New Now auction, the work Reflect sold for USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,413.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alex Olson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Circulate sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Olson erzielte im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Reflect für USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.413,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alex Olson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Circulate im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
