This artwork by Alex Olson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. In the Handle With Care auction, the work Two works: (i-ii) Untitled sold for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,844.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Olson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Circulate in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Olson erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Handle With Care wurde die Arbeit Two works: (i-ii) Untitled für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.844,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Olson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Circulate im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
