Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Alex Olson for USD 750.00 (€ 654.68). This price was achieved in the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Circulate in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alex Olson für USD 750,00 (€ 654,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Circulate im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
