Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Christies in London held the auction First Open Online, which included this untitled work by Alex Olson. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,138.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Circulate in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alex Olson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.138,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Circulate im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
