Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Notes by Alex Olson for USD 1,016.00 (€ 918.46). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York at Phillips in 7 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Circulate in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Notes von Alex Olson für USD 1.016,00 (€ 918,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York bei Phillips in 7 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Circulate im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
