Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mirror by Alex Olson was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,300.00 (€ 6,439.74). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Olson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circulate, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mirror von Alex Olson kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.300,00 (€ 6.439,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Olson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Circulate beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97) versteigert wurde.
