Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beijing Wa Wa - Sparkter by Zhang Hui was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2011. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,813.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Hui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 49,651.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beijing Wa Wa - Sparkter von Zhang Hui wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.813,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 49.651,76).
