The work Girl Gazing On Tiananmen by Zhang Hui was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection auction at Christies in New York in November 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,404.77), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Hui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 49,651.76).

Die Arbeit Girl Gazing On Tiananmen von Zhang Hui wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.404,77) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 49.651,76).
