Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Phillips in London held the auction BRIC, which included the work Beijing Wa Wa - Mermaid by Zhang Hui. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,038.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Hui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 49,651.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion BRIC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beijing Wa Wa - Mermaid von Zhang Hui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.038,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 49.651,76).
