Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Piazza Rotonda by William H. Bailey was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,427.18). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William H. Bailey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silent Plain in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,903.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Piazza Rotonda von William H. Bailey kam im Juli 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.427,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William H. Bailey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silent Plain im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.903,95).
