Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by William H. Bailey. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,209.94), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by William H. Bailey have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,903.95) in May 2015 for the work Silent Plain.

Im September 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von William H. Bailey zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 40.209,94) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von William H. Bailey haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.903,95) im Mai 2015 für die Arbeit Silent Plain beobachtet.
