In the Contemporary Curated featuring works from the Collection of Joni Gordon of Newspace Gallery auction, the work Still Life With Blue Stripes sold for USD 62,500.00 (€ 49,493.19) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William H. Bailey; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Silent Plain sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,903.95).
