Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Curtain/Battle by Toby Ziegler was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,040.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toby Ziegler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Curtain/Battle von Toby Ziegler kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.040,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
