Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Carnival in Lent" by Toby Ziegler was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021. The price achieved of SEK 135,000.00 (€ 13,275.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toby Ziegler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Carnival in Lent" von Toby Ziegler kam im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 135.000,00 (€ 13.275,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
