This artwork by Toby Ziegler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2020. In the New Now auction, the work Self-love thus push'd to social sold for GBP 26,460.00 (€ 29,558.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toby Ziegler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Toby Ziegler erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Self-love thus push'd to social für GBP 26.460,00 (€ 29.558,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
