Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Emotional Defrag by Toby Ziegler was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,025.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toby Ziegler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Emotional Defrag von Toby Ziegler kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.025,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
