Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work 60s Emissions by Toby Ziegler for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,434.52). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toby Ziegler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 60s Emissions von Toby Ziegler für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.434,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
