Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Consensual Design by Toby Ziegler was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction at Phillips in 7 - in December this year. The price achieved of USD 4,064.00 (€ 3,673.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toby Ziegler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Consensual Design von Toby Ziegler wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York bei Phillips in 7 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.064,00 (€ 3.673,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
