Auction result well in line with expectations
The work capability by Toby Ziegler was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 5,151.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toby Ziegler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit capability von Toby Ziegler kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 5.151,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
