four mezzotints with drypoint (two with hand-coloring), 1991, on wove paper, all signed and dated in pencil, three titled 'State I', 'State II', and 'State III' respectively, numbered 1/18, 5/8, 1/8, and 1/6 respectively (there were also 6, 4, 4, 4 artist's proofs respectively), all with the Gemini G.E.L. blindstamps, Los Angeles, with full margins, all hinged to the support in places at the reverse of the margin edges, otherwise all apparently in very good condition, two examined out of the frames

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Now Then; Now Then State I; Now Then State II; Now Then State III by Steven Sorman was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2005. The price achieved of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,492.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Steven Sorman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work "Change of heart" was auctioned for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,555.91).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.800,00 (€ 1.492,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Steven Sorman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit "Change of heart" für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.555,91) versteigert.
