It achieved a price of USD 875.00 (€ 615.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steven Sorman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Change of heart", which sold at auction in May 2010 for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,555.91).

Die Arbeit Memorized Distance, from Inside Weather Series von Steven Sorman kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 615,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Steven Sorman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Change of heart" beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.555,91) versteigert wurde.
