Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Far and Away, from Inside Weather Series by Steven Sorman for USD 780.00 (€ 646.87). This price was achieved in the auction Prints and Multiples at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steven Sorman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Change of heart", which sold at auction in May 2010 for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,555.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Far and Away, from Inside Weather Series von Steven Sorman für USD 780,00 (€ 646,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Steven Sorman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Change of heart" beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.555,91) versteigert wurde.
