Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Dwarf of Itself by Steven Sorman for USD 250.00 (€ 175.82). This price was achieved in the auction House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Steven Sorman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Change of heart" in May 2010 with an auction result of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,555.91).
