The work Untitled (The Andy Warhol Diaries) by Steve Wolfe was sold in the Contemporary Part I and Part II auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2007. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,549.27), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steve Wolfe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ludwig Wittgenstein, The Blue And Brown Books (Preliminary Studies For The 'Philosophical Investigations'), which sold at auction in November 2004 for USD 52,580.00 (€ 39,656.08).

Die Arbeit Untitled (The Andy Warhol Diaries) von Steve Wolfe wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.549,27) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Steve Wolfe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ludwig Wittgenstein, The Blue And Brown Books (Preliminary Studies For The 'Philosophical Investigations') beobachtet, die im November 2004 für USD 52.580,00 (€ 39.656,08) versteigert wurde.
