Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Steve Wolfe could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art in Focus auction, the work The Andy Warhol Diaries changed hands for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,806.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Steve Wolfe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ludwig Wittgenstein, The Blue And Brown Books (Preliminary Studies For The 'Philosophical Investigations') in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 52,580.00 (€ 39,656.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
